Dax's Daily Dose of Tarot and Numerology!
Right away, when I pulled the Tarot Card of The Day (COTD), I thought of the apple pie we will be having for Easter Dinner this evening!
Both the Llewellyn Deck version of the Card, and the Waite/Smith version, are quite similar, but I like how in the Llewellyn 7 of Pentacles, it looks as if a monk, in a monastery's garden, has just paused in his daily routine to contemplate the bounty of one of the fruit trees.
In the tree, seven pentacles (coins, disks) hang along side the fruit. What will be the result of this harvest? Apple pies for the brothers, at the monastery? ....A tidy sum of it's sale at the local farmers' market?
Seven is the vibration of the Spiritual Quest ...and in fact, "77" is associated with Jesus himself! The 7 of Pents is a card of contemplation, assessment, patience, persistence, the removing of obstacles, weeding, purging, harvest, a Pause in the Action.
Sometimes the 7 of Pents shows up indicating the abandonment of a project, or the collapse or imminent collapse of one, depending on the surrounding Cards and position in a Spread.
Both the DAY-Energy and the whole DATE-Energy (4+4+2+2+1 = 13 = 1+3 = 4) are the "4" Vibration. Four is Structure. The "4" Energy seeks security and 'home' is their haven (similar to the "6" vibration). Four is from the Business Sub-Group of Numbers 2, 4 and 8.
Four is systems and foundations, management and plans. It is a Number of dependability, patience, persistence (like the 7 of Pents), pragmatism, patriotism, practicality, and organization ...to name a few.
Today is definitely a Day to take a Pause in The Action! ....It's Sunday after all, and Easter Sunday at that! Take time to assess. Perhaps your thoughts will be on Family today, or your own Spiritual Quest. Or perhaps that Project of yours needs some scrutiny! ....or maybe all of the above!?
