The King of Swords is clear-mined and ratonal. Seeking the Deep Truth, he is analytical and decisive. He is cautious and discerning, impartial, and makes unemotional decisions.
Yesterday was about too many thoughts, being trapped by them, and over-thinking. Today is the opposite! The King of Swords counsels to be analytical in your approach and unswayed by emotion....
The danger today is emotions like discontentment and apathy, as in the Four of Cups. ....The Sun card is about confidence and energy, joy, love, success, accomplishment and fulfillment.
It's the opposite of the Four of Cups, and this is where your focus should be, as you move forward in this New Beginning!
The Reading today also says to be open to new possibilities. The figure in the Four of Cups doesn't see the fourth "option" being offered him.
As I said in the article this past Saturday, You can't Create Change with the Same Thinking. We often block The Universe from giving us these new possibilities....
Humans are hard-wired to seek the familiar. We believe things can only happen a certain way, because we rely on our experience... How things happened in the past, and are therefore blind to new and different ways.
We've always worked in a certain way, made money a certain way, found relationships a certain way. The Universe is going to present you with a different Way!
Your initial reaction is going to be "that won't work", "it can't happen that way", "I can't do that"... As soon as you have thoughts like these, you will know you are actually on the right track!
