The Card of The Day & Numerology for January 6th, 2021
So now that you have worked on those Plans and Goals for 2021, with an analytical eye (yesterday's COTD Article - King of Swords), it's time to open up to your Creative Side! Take a Leap of Faith, with optimism, and embark on this *New Adventure!
Today's DATE is the 3-Energy .....Creativity and Communication. Open up to your creative-side and see how you can apply creativity to your Goals and Plans for 2021.....
The DAY today is the 6-Energy .....The Nurturer! .....associated with love, family and home life. Helping others. Healing. Both 3 & 6, as well as 9, are the subset of Creativity & Communication Numbers.
Think outside of the box. How can this apply to your Goals this Year? How can you be in alignment with your Goals, following your true Passion(s), and channel this into creating Value for other, by helping them -- What big "Problem" can you solve for others?
For the Tarot Card of The Day, The Fool Card shows up, indicating Fresh Starts, New Beginnings - To launch yourself into New Possibilities!
The Card is labeled "0" - The Void. This is not the Western version of the word Void, meaning completely empty, but rather the Eastern concept of The Formless. ALL the potential of the ALL of the Numbers in Numerology, and Life's experience, is present here....
In the traditional Waite/Smith Deck version of the Card (shown here from the Radiant Deck), a young man approaches a cliff, carrying a walking staff with a bag attached. He is accompanied Man's Best Friend - A dog, representing loyalty and Protection. The dog is White, the color of Purity and Innocence.
This is the same color of his shirt, under his outer garments, and the color of the rose he carries in his left hand. The left side is connected to the right side of our brain, the artistic and creative side.
His right hand is the one that carries the staff with the bag attached. The bag is Crimson-Red, the color of Passion. Many Tarot Experts feel that within the bag are the Four Elements, which we see on The Magician 's table, in the very next Card, of The Major Arcana.
The color Yellow permeates the Card, from the background to his clothing to his boots, FULL of Optimism and Self-Confidence!
His head is adorned with a crown of laurel leafs, representing Victory and Success ...with a Red feather, denoting Vitality, Strength and Potential. His appearance is flamboyant, with clothing seemingly chosen for style, rather than the journey he is on, in rough terrain.
His is also rather androgynous, as we also find with the figure of the last card of the Majors, 21 - The World. (a "3" card by the way...) He doesn't experience his journey through either a male or female perspective, and this journey is open to any man, woman or child.
He gazes upwards towards the sky (and The Universe), evaluating all of the possibilities, seemingly without a care in the world, and at the same time unaware of the edge of the cliff, and a potential plunge into the unknown.
....But this is exactly what we all need to do! No progress or attainment happens within our own comfort zone! ...Is there an unrealized dream you still have, but you are too scared to go for it? Perhaps you are afraid of looking stupid, or failing.
When a reporter asked Edison about the 1000 times he failed, before finally creating the light bulb, he replied that he had not failed, but rather found 1000 ways not to make a light bulb!
